As we both had a love of 'getting away from it all' and being warm we tried to get away as much as possible. Our first holiday together was ona surfing holiday in Costa Rica. It was my first time on a surfboard so I was thankful I had warm water to fall into! Ste had been surfing for around ten years by then and it has to be said was the best surfer on the trip alongside the instructors. After that we found a love for Northumberland and went back three more times, each time with our surfboards. One special day we were in the sea at Bamburgh with our boards, nobody else around, with the stunning castle overlooking us, we both agreed it was truely magical.
