For those who don't know, Ste and myself met on a dating website. I had given up meeting anyone half sane on nights out and I gather Ste had the same experience. I was semi bed ridden after an appendicectomy and decided to give Direct Dating a whirl. I am so glad I did because on their I read the funniest profile and saw a picture of a gorgeous looking guy- Ste! After chatting to Ste via email for a few days he phoned me and we arranged to meet up for lunch at the Bulls Head pub in Greenmount. I was a little dubious, thinking the profile and picture could have been a con. Ste was very dubious because I hadn't included a photo on my profile. So he was very brave but I did tell him there was only a little scaring from the op and my stoop had almost resolved!:) As soon as we met we started talking and didn't stop. We got on so well I felt scared. Ste later admitted he was also a little freaked out by the whole experience. We managed to turn the first date into six hours of fun and laughter and arranged to go out again three days later.
